Before stepping into the private sector, Dr. Huff served as a superintendent, leading 300+ team members across eight facilities. He chaired an 11 member executive cabinet spanning seven departments and partnered closely with boards to tighten governance, streamline processes, and reduce risk. His teams’ outcomes include recognition as the 7th most improved district in the state, top 5% gains in highschool test scores, and districtwide initiatives that significantly improved achievement for Hispanic students. He has also built highdiscipline financial operations, creating an account-receivable process that achieved a 98% collection rate (a 40% improvement) and securing a $500,000 federal grant that expanded access and opportunity.

Safety and design are core to his operating philosophy. Dr. Huff holds a certification in CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design), which informs his approach to building and campus planning, visitor flow, and capital investments. Under his leadership, organizations have enacted major safety upgrades and developed futureready facility plans, including STEM center designs and multisite capital improvement roadmaps.

A community minded operator, he has convened large professional events, among them a 1,000 person development summit on overcoming socioeconomic barriers to learning and served on nonprofit boards that raised more than $60,000 for local needs. He is known for turning strong relationships with boards, community partners, clients, and frontline teams into durable results.
