Biography
As a parent, former educator, entrepreneur, community and national leader in both the business and public sectors, Martha McGeary Snider’s career has been diverse, dynamic and impactful. She is a consultant and creative strategist with experience in business development and strategic relationship building for new and established companies, foundations and ventures. In response to the world’s growing need for safety and security solutions, Martha co-founded CecureCor in 2023 and serves as the company’s CEO. CecureCor provides best-in-class solutions, products and services for those leaders who must make the critical decisions that provide protection for those who depend upon them. As a consultant spanning multiple verticals, Martha specializes in the interrelationships between technology, media, community relations, sports, arts and entertainment. Her career is highlighted by her roles in both ownership and management in the sports and entertainment industry where she actively participated in the corporate expansion of Spectacor and, later, Comcast Spectacor, a sports, entertainment, media and facilities management company. She led all aspects of design for the sports and entertainment arena in Philadelphia, now called the Wells Fargo Center. Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell appointed Ms. McGeary Snider to serve as Policy Advisor on Arts and Culture, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where she served for both of his terms in office through 2011. As an active philanthropist, Ms. McGeary Snider has served on local, national and international organizations and received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in Philanthropy in 2009. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia and was active in the museum’s founding and is also a member of the National Council on White House History of the White House Historical Association.
